| The Dassel-Cokato Saints overcame a strong start by the Montgomery Mallards to capture the Championship of the 2008 Hamburg Coors Light Classic Baseball Tournament. D.C.'s Shawn Larson was named the tourney MVP. Larson went 4-8 with 2 walks and 1 pitching win. In other action, the Elk River Pioneers topped the Young America Cardinals for the third place trophy and the Eden Prairie Eagles won the consolation bracket with a 4-1 decision over the host Hamburg Hawks. |
